Assistant General Manager Internship

We have an exciting internship for you as Assistant General Manager at Papa’s Houses! In this role, you’ll be the right hand of our General Manager and get the opportunity to be actively involved in both the operational and strategic sides of our business. A day in the life...

• You’ll take on various projects, such as optimizing room service and F&B, increasing revenue through dishes, and developing training programs.
• You’ll assist the management team, including preparing meetings and taking minutes.
• Administrative tasks will also be part of your role.
• You’ll actively contribute to the future vision of our company and become the right hand of the General Manager!
• About 30% of your time will be spent helping with operations. Whether it’s stepping in to support the F&B department or assisting where needed, no two days are the same.
• You’ll jump in wherever necessary and won’t be confined to just office work.

Papa’s is a proven concept since 1989, with the location Papa’s Beach House in the Haarlemmermeerse Bos in Hoofddorp by a beautiful lake. And now our second location in the Element Amsterdam Hotel located in the shopping mall Gelderlandplein with a beautiful rooftop; Papa’s Loft House. Our products are pure, fresh, and local. In addition, Papa’s also offers various possibilities for organizing private events such as BBQs, walking dinners, corporate drinks, and weddings. Element by Westin is in the building next to Papa’s Loft House and is part of Marriott International. The lifestyle hotel has 160 modern design rooms, several meeting rooms; all with smart design and inspired by nature. We share part of the kitchen in Papa’s Loft House with our colleagues from the Element.

What do we expect from you as an Assistant General Manager Intern?

• You follow a higher professional education (HBO).
• You are looking for an internship of at least 20 weeks.
• You are full-time available.
• You are enthusiastic, eager to learn, and ready to roll up your sleeves.
