Hey Chef! Do you want to work for a cool growing hospitality brand with more than 50 years of Hospitality experience?
Papa's Beach House in Hoofddorp, located in the Haarlemmermeersebos with a beautiful view over the water, is looking for a new Head Chef. This location accommodates +/- 200 a la carte guests and also hosts events for up to 450 people with food festivals, intimate sitting down dinners, and BBQs.

Job requirements
A DAY IN THE LIFE…
As Head Chef, you are responsible for the kitchen of Papa’s Beach House. You lead a team of +/- 10 employees.
You are responsible for the operational management of the kitchen on topics such as: staffing, team structure, control over procurement, HACCP, recipes, menu compositions, and inventory management;
You are accountable to the Manager of Papa’s Beach House and work closely with the Head Chef of Papa's Loft House to ensure that the operation maximally contributes to the product and guest experience;
In addition, you may be asked by the Operational Manager of the location to maintain contacts with suppliers and advise on contract management.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
For the role of Head Chef, we are looking for an enthusiastic team player who can cook well, but also understands what managing their own work and the team entails. It is a versatile role. We are looking for someone who enjoys the variety in this work; from serving a BBQ or sitting down dinner, together with a full restaurant, to engaging with candidates for the team or brainstorming new food concepts.
MUST HAVES
Minimum 2 years of experience as a sous chef
Knowledge: product knowledge, hygiene and HACCP regulations, cooking techniques, purchase prices, and general market developments;
Competencies: Your time is valuable, so it's nice if you know where the priorities lie.

Overtime can be used for time off in lieu, but we prefer to keep track of the hours accurately and anticipate in time. In the winter months, we usually work 4 days.
