Maintenance Employee (PT/FT)

The Technical Department (TD) team ensures that everything in the building is functioning perfectly from a technical perspective. Element by Westin is part of Marriott International. This is a cluster role, where the technical team works primarily at Element but also spends one day per week at Papa's Beach House. Located in Haarlemmermeerse Bos, Hoofddorp, Papa’s Beach House is a hidden gem in one of the most beautiful spots in the area.

What will be your responsibilities?

• Technical repairs, troubleshooting and maintenance of the building and installations.

• Managing the stock (installation material, consumables, spare parts, etc.).

• Request quotations and order equipment/parts.

• Managing and checking matters, such as: Legionella management plan, evacuation installation, fire alarm installation, emergency power generator, emergency lighting, etc.

• Collecting the reports, determining the nature and complexity of the failure/notification and the maintenance that needs to be carried out, determining the (sequence of) work to be carried out and the required materials.

• Close cooperation and reporting to the maintenance manager.

What do we expect from you?

• Minimum a working or educational background in electrical/mechanical engineering or other technical directions.

• You are a handyman.

• You generally have a fixed schedule with working hours during the weekdays. On weekends, there is an 'on-call duty' that is rotated among the team members.

• You live in the area of Amsterdam.

• You speak fluent Dutch or English.
