F&B Intern - Courtyard Amsterdam Airport

Are you looking for an educational internship in a professional hospitality setting? Are you hospitable and eager to gain valuable hands-on experience? Then we’re looking for you!

As F&B intern, you’ll work in our restaurant and banquet halls. You’ll support the team in the restaurant, the bar, and during banquet events. This will introduce you to the dynamic world of hospitality and the business clientele of Courtyard by Marriott Amsterdam Airport.

What to expect?

• You will assist with restaurant, banqueting, and bar operations;

• You will perform preparatory tasks for daily service;

• You will welcome and assist guests in a hospitable and professional manner;

• You will take orders, serve food and drinks, and process payments;

• You will work in accordance with Marriott Standards and HACCP guidelines.

Who are we looking for?

Someone who is enthusiastic, eager to learn, and passionate about hospitality. You enjoy working with people and aren’t afraid to take the initiative. During your internship, you want to develop yourself in a professional environment where quality and service are key.

What do we expect from you?

• You are enrolled in an MBO program at level 3 or 4, preferably in hospitality, the food and beverage industry, or tourism.

• You have a professional work ethic.

• You have good communication skills.

• You have a good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
