We are looking for a Reservations Supervisor!

You love working in a hotel, but are looking for more regularity in your working hours. The past few years you have gained experience as a Reservations Agent or Front Office employee and are now looking for the next challenge. You still enjoy direct contact with guests. You want to advise them in the best possible way and surprise them with a personal note when they finally get there, because you strive for an unforgettable stay. You are the key link to make the reservation process run efficiently, relieving both your colleagues within the Front Office, the guests in the hotel, but also our business partners. You are a problem solver to whom everyone comes directly with their travel issues. You don't turn your hand to an individual reservation, a relocation process or even a small or medium-sized meeting. You want to optimize revenue and you are curious how Revenue Management comes to price changes, what exactly is the advantage of restrictions and how you can improve occupancy. You are commercially minded and you are finally going to put this into practice. All this while enjoying your free time on weekends!

A day in the life…

  • Processing individual reservations (by phone and email)

  • Answering requests for expat, relocation and long stay stays

  • Daily monitoring of all new reservations

  • Optimize collaborations with corporate accounts, including digitizing their reservations

  • Clearly communicate details regarding our corporate accounts to your sales and operations colleagues

  • Good and committed collaboration with your colleagues from the Front Office, Sales and F&B teams

Job requirements

We are looking for someone who is always on edge, can quickly switch between different types of requests and types of guests

What do we expect from you as a Reservations Agent?

  • Minimum MBO working and thinking level, preferably Hotel School

  • You have at least 1 year experience in a reservations department or 2 years front office

  • Knowledge of Opera PMS & MARSHA is an advantage.

  • Good command of the Dutch and English language.

  • Representative, optimistic and cheerful; your glass is half full if it is not full

  • The perfect sales colleague who thinks proactively about new opportunities
