As Chef de Partie at Courtyard Amsterdam Airport, you’ll work in a professional kitchen. You’ll be responsible for preparing and presenting dishes. You’ll assist with mise en place, work on both the cold and hot sides of the kitchen and be on duty during lunch and dinner service. Together with the kitchen team, you’ll ensure that guests enjoy a memorable culinary experience.

What to expect?

• Preparing, plating and serving dishes;

• Mise en place: washing, cutting, pre-cooking and making sauces;

• Ensuring quality, freshness, presentation and hygiene;

• Ordering, checking and storing supplies;

• Contributing ideas for new dishes, recipes and presentations;

• Coordinating and organizing daily tasks within your partie;

• Keeping the kitchen and equipment clean;

• Mentoring colleagues and trainees as needed.

Who are we looking for?
Someone who is passionate about cooking, thrives on working in a kitchen, and can work independently in that environment. You value quality, are creative, and work in an organized manner, both independently and as part of a team.

What we expect from you

• You have experience working in a professional kitchen as Chef de Partie;

• You have completed a culinary training program or have experience in an apprenticeship program;

• You can handle stress well and have a positive work attitude.

• Salary based on skills and experience (classified under Job Scale V of the hospitality collective bargaining agreement) with room for growth.

• Travel allowance according to the scale: €0,23 per kilometer for one-way trips from 7.5 km, up to a maximum of € 205.83 per per month.
