Restaurant Manager Papa's Loft House (FT)

Due to an internal promotion, Papa's Loft House is looking for a new Restaurant Manager!

Do you enjoy taking good care of your restaurant team and guests? Do you see it as a challenge to build a beautiful and new restaurant with an existing and excellent concept with your colleagues? Then we're looking for you!

As a Restaurant Manager you are the face of our restaurant 'Papa's Loft House', inspired by the stories of Papa: Ernest Hemingway. You are responsible for the day-to-day operations in the restaurant, you manage the service team, you make the schedules, you will be a source of information for the team, and you act as a coach. You also ensure that there are always sufficient stock levels, and you keep an eye on the costs. During opening hours you ensure that the restaurant, café and our rooftop always look fantastic and everything runs efficiently. You will also be involved in the implementation and preparation of the events, such as BBQs and walking dinners at our restaurant and on our rooftop. You enjoy thinking about the future and our brand. Your role is to have everything run smoothly, you are the key between the team and the Operational Manager.

PAPA'S HOUSES

Papa's has been a proven concept since 1989, with location Papa’s Beach House in Haarlemmermeerse Bos in Hoofddorp next to a beautiful lake. And now we have opened our 2nd location Papa’s Loft House with its beautiful rooftop located in the Element Hotel in Gelderlandplein. In Papa's Loft and Papa's Café we can host up to 200 guests and outside on the rooftop terrace we can host another +150 people. Have a look at our Menu to get a good impression. Oh, and we also host various private events, business drinks and parties!

A WEEK IN THE LIFE OF…

You work in the restaurant 4 or 5 days a week. At peak times between 12:00 and 2:00 PM & 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM you make sure you are on the floor, in between you have time for your administrative tasks. You are the link between the team and the Operational Manager and you also have weekly consultations with him. You make the schedule at least 3 weeks in advance, so you know exactly what you can expect! Work hard, play harder!

WHO ARE YOU?

• An enthusiast with a huge load of energy

• You have managerial experience in a restaurant

• You like a diverse and young team

• You enjoy motivating, directing and coaching your team

• We like it (not a must) if you have a diploma from the MBO or HBO hotel
